Discouraged home poler – advice? : poledancing
Hey guys!I’ve been poling for just over a year. My first nine months were at a studio where I was doing about 8-9 hours / week, easy since it was right next to my house. Since then, I’ve moved, and the closest studio is 45 mins away, and my level is at 645 and I don’t get off work most nights until 6. So I’ve been to a total of 4 classes in the last 4 months.I knew this was going to be an issue before I moved, so I bought an xpole for my spare bedroom. However, I find that I literally can’t do anything on the pole. It’s had more than enough time to break in, but I think that room doesn’t get much airflow so it’s always humid. I slip down in an outside leg hang. I’ve almost lost my ayesha, and said goodbye to my handspring. The few times I have got to a studio, I feel like superman cause my grip is amazing in comparison hahaAnyone have some tips and tricks?
